This year I will be riding with my group THE KINGSMEN to make difference to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. Our ride takes place from 11-13 October over 360 km of beautiful Victorian coastline. Any donations will be going to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). Each year 1,600 Australian women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer but unlike other cancers there is no early detection test and as such only 30% of women diagnosed with the advanced stages of ovarian cancer will survive beyond 5 years and that each and every day three woman die from ovarian cancer. The cause is particularly close to me as Leanne Flynn the wife of Justin Flynn (The Knocker) is an ovarian cancer patient. Leanne has dedicated herself to making a difference and is an inspiration.
