Hi everyone, On 12 - 13 October I'll be participating in a 370km hurt locker of a charity ride from Port Campbell to Melbourne organised by TKM to raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). If you feel inclined, please help me help OCRF by donating whatever you can - everything helps! OCRF supports research into creating a test for the early detection of ovarian cancer so that no other woman will die prematurely from this disease. A couple of facts around Ovarian Cancer: • Each year 1,600 Australian women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer • Unlike breast and more common cancers, there is no early detection test • Only 30% of women diagnosed with the advanced stages of ovarian cancer will survive beyond 5 years • One woman dies from ovarian cancer every 8 hours Thank you in advance for your generosity if you feel inclined, it means a lot.
