I'm riding 400km with the King's Men as part of their annual Ride Different fundraising weekend on 11 -13 October. This year we're raising funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF), helping to find a test for the early detection of ovarian cancer. There'll be 50 riders with me on the weekend including Justin, whose brave wife Leanne is undergoing chemo for her own ovarian cancer treatment. Every year 1,600 Australian women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer and the survival rate is depressingly low. The gift of early detection is the least we could ask for.
